Reads the type a column's DDL declares into a DeclaredTypeNode tree. The grammars keep a nested type in different members of TTypeName; this is the one place that knows them (plan section 4.2):

• STRUCT / ROW fields: TTypeName.getColumnDefList() (Hive, Impala, Spark SQL, Databricks STRUCT<..>, BigQuery, Athena, Presto/Trino ROW(..));
• ARRAY element: TTypeName.getTypeOfList() (Hive listType_t, BigQuery, the Trino family) or TTypeName.getElementType() (Databricks, Redshift);
• MAP key and value: TTypeName.getKeyType() / TTypeName.getValueType() (Databricks) or TTypeName.getPrimitiveTypeOfMap() / TTypeName.getTypeOfMap() (Hive, Impala, Redshift).

A part a grammar drops (Spark ARRAY<T>'s T, a Presto MAP's key and value) reads as null: the container is known, its parts are not.
