| Interface | Description |
|---|---|
| SemanticStage.FoldCheck |
The FOLD-V1
PROJECTOR checks, run when the document has an ExplainGraph. |
| SourceTextProvider |
Where the validator finds the text of a
NAMED source unit to check spans against
(specification Sections 7.8 and 12.2). |
| Class | Description |
|---|---|
| DocumentIndex |
The objects of a lineage document by kind and document-local reference, tolerant of any shape: the first
object with a reference wins and nothing throws (
conformance/run.py, Index). |
| IdentityStage |
Validation stage
IDENTITY (specification Section 14.2) as the reference runner implements it
(conformance/run.py, stage_identity): every analysis context names a published dependency
snapshot (VERSION_UNKNOWN_DEPENDENCY_SNAPSHOT); every id recomputes (DocumentIds); full names
follow the dialect's qualification profile (ID_QUALIFICATION_MISMATCH); and declared canonical
segment keys are what the identifier-rule data gives (ID_SEGMENT_KEY_MISMATCH). |
| LineageValidator |
The staged validator of SQL-LR (specification Section 14.2):
SCHEMA, SEMANTIC,
REFERENCE, IDENTITY, in the order of the registry group validationStages. |
| LineageValidator.Result |
The outcome of a validation.
|
| ReferenceStage |
Validation stage
REFERENCE (specification Section 14.2) as the reference runner implements it
(conformance/run.py, stage_reference): one reference space for every object that carries a
ref (REF_DUPLICATE), every reference names an object (REF_DANGLING) of an allowed
kind (REF_WRONG_TARGET), and owner and parent chains do not return to themselves
(REF_OWNER_CYCLE). |
| SchemaStage |
Validation stage
SCHEMA (specification Section 14.2), as the reference runner implements it
(conformance/run.py, stage_schema):
the strict reader of canonical-json-v1 (SCHEMA_INVALID_JSON,
SCHEMA_DUPLICATE_KEY, SCHEMA_NON_INTEGER_NUMBER);
the version gates: a specVersion of another major.minor is
VERSION_UNSUPPORTED_SPEC_VERSION; a header.registryVersion at or above the supported
range is VERSION_REGISTRY_TOO_NEW;
the JSON Schema: a value outside an enum that names a registry group, and that the group does not
list, is SCHEMA_UNKNOWN_CODE; any other schema error is SCHEMA_VIOLATION;
the array registry in strict mode: an unregistered array is SCHEMA_VIOLATION; a SET holding
equal elements or a SEQUENCE with broken ordinals (SEMANTIC_ARRAY_KIND_VIOLATION) is deferred
to stage SEMANTIC;
canonical order: a SET array out of its registered order is SCHEMA_NOT_CANONICAL.
The stage reports the findings of the first step that has any. |
| SchemaStage.Result |
The outcome of the stage.
|
| SchemaValidator |
A JSON Schema Draft 2020-12 validator for the keywords the SQL-LR lineage document schema uses, with no
third-party dependency.
|
| SchemaValidator.SchemaError |
One validation error: the failing keyword, its schema object, the instance and where it is.
|
| SemanticStage |
Validation stage
SEMANTIC (specification Section 14.2) as the reference runner implements it
(conformance/run.py, stage_semantic): module presence, Facts without an Occurrence,
declaration bases, document-local identities, the proof/binding/coverage contracts of Sections 4.3 and 4.4,
source embedding, PATH-V1 nesting, FROM-item row propagation, spans against the source text, the column
ordinals of the ExplainGraph, and the FOLD-V1 checks of a SemanticStage.FoldCheck when one is given. |
| SourceTextProvider.Directories |
A provider that maps namespaces to directories; a logical name is a path relative to its directory, and a
name that is absolute, has a
.. segment or ends with / is never read. |
